TI commissioned me in May, 2013 to provide several concepts for overhauling their world-wide web site. This third concept shown was unorthodox from anything they have done before and was to reflect the coming trend in design interfaces. The direction of this layout was to clear the clutter and provide a site for engineers to toy around with since majority of the visitors to their site are that demographic and completely wipe away the typical menu system traditionally seen on tech giant sites.
Instead, the side bar acts like a software program, housing all the menu actions and tools needed to navigate the site and to begin the process of testing out products and builds. The landing products page are parallax actions that slide up to reveal each new item promoted. The inner pages float over a background and the intention is that each individual user would be able to move elements around to their preference.
